Senior AdviserBen specialises in recruiting senior executives in communications and public affairs. He has helped a wide variety of organisations such as global corporates, leading charities and NGOs recruit their communication and advocacy experts. Clients he has worked with include GE, Relx, King.com, American Express, G4S, and Syngenta.
He has extensive experience of working in Brussels, and international assignments have taken him to USA, Japan, Thailand, and across Europe.
Before Ellwood Atfield, a highpoint he is particularly proud of was his role at Parliamentary Communications where he was the first director of groundbreaking political information portal epolitix.com (now PoliticsHome.com).
Ben’s interest in exploring the role, character and importance of communications led him to found the ellwood atfield gallery. The gallery regularly hosts industry events and exhibitions attracting some of the UK’s most influential and exciting communications professionals.
Ben studied Japanese History and Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) London University.
When he’s not headhunting or poring over EA’s P&L Ben enjoys reading crime fiction, Italy, New York, wine, ideas of the Enlightenment and cooking for his three children.
