FTSE 100 seeks internal communications business partner

The opportunity

Our client is a leading international FTSE 100 business. They are looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to develop and implementing an innovative strategy for engagement with members of the organisations Pension Fund. Reporting into the Head of Operations, Pensions & Benefits this role acts as business partner to the function. 

Main responsibilities 

  • Take overall responsibility for all communications with the Fund’s members
  • Develop an engagement model that ensures members get the information they need, at the time they need it, and gives members choice of how to interact with the Fund’s administration teams, with a bias towards increased digitisation and self-service
  • Design and implement a method for measuring the quality of our communications and member engagement
  • Own the production of the member newsletters and the communication aspects of other projects that arise across the Fund
  • Identify areas for improvement in our letters and our helpline interactions with members. Lead aspects of training and changes where required

Key skills and experience required 

  • A consistent record of developing and executing internal communications strategies 
  • Experience of working in an internal communications role, preferably within a global, matrixed environment
  • Experience of working with on-line communications such as websites and online portals
  • Leadership and ambition to achieve significant change across teams
  • Proven record of engaging with multiple business partners
