To achieve our ambitious plans, we are now looking to appoint a Director of External Engagement who will play a critical role in enhancing our reputation, status and impact, ensuring we maintain and develop outstanding relations with key governmental and supra-governmental stakeholders and other key partners globally.
This newly created role will provide inspirational and strategic leadership to the Marketing and Communications, Public Affairs, Research and Insight and Fundraising functions, ensuring the leads in these areas achieve their goals to support the ambitions of the organisation.
As a member of the Senior Executive Team (SET), you will support our CEO to drive and deliver the ACU’s ambitious strategic plan.
You will have a successful track record of leading a team in a relevant leadership role, preferably in marketing and communications. You will also have significant experience of developing senior-level external relationships and securing the highest-level advocacy, including developing and harnessing strong networks across multiple stakeholder groups. This will be combined with knowledge and passion for data and insights and a genuine alignment to the ACU’s mission and values.
The salary is competitive and commensurate with the seniority of the appointment.
