FTSE 100 seeks Internal Communications Business Partner

The opportunity
Our client is a FTSE 100 business operating in more than 30 countries with over 30,000 employees. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Business Partner will lead all employee communications across the organisation, building a strong internal network and sharing of best practice. This role will be responsible for business partnering their group functions to provide senior counsel on the most effective ways to engage employees, as well as developing a strategy, plan, content and material to deliver against the required objectives of each function.

Main responsibilities

·         Developing and delivering creative, engaging, impactful and measurable communication strategies to support key functional business programmes/objectives

·         Supporting in defining, developing and leading the delivery the internal communications strategy for Group functions that support their key strategic and cultural objectives

·         Supporting the creation of a strong line management leadership community, helping them drive employee engagement

·         Building and managing complex relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in Group and Divisions

·         Supporting the Head of Internal communications on Planning and organising leadership events and conferences; Formal, calendared CEO communications and announcements

·         Constantly measuring and re-calibrating communication activities for maximum impact and engagement

Key skills and experience required

·         Extensive corporate communications experience within a complex, global matrix organisation

·         Experience of managing projects and associated teams; including supplier relationships

·         Communications thought leadership: ability to rally functional leaders around communications objectives and plan

·         Business savvy, with proven ability to interact with and influence all levels of employees in a business organisation

·         Internal comms experience gained in a complex, international organisation
