New opportunity at one of the world's leading universities.

Imperial College London is one of the world's leading universities. The College's 16,000 students and 8,000 staff are expanding the frontiers of knowledge in science, medicine, engineering and business, and translating their discoveries into benefits for society. Imperial has much to share - influencing, engaging with and inspiring a spectrum of audiences, to include vast global networks and institutions.
A rare and challenging opportunity has become available for a highly driven Head of Public Affairs, with superb influencing and relationship building skills. In this varied and fast paced role, you will optimize and deliver a robust public affairs strategy to help manage and advance the College’s reputation; inform decision makers - policy makers, civil servants, politicians and other key groups - to influence policy, and as such, play a significant part in shaping the post-Brexit landscape of UK higher education and research institutions for years to come.
As a seasoned public affairs practitioner (i.e. Public Affairs Director, Associate Director of Public Affairs, Special Political Advisor, Head of Communications, Associate Communications Director, Senior Government Relations Manager, Senior Public Affairs Manager or similar), you will be adept at navigating a large and complex matrix environment, not only to deliver results, but do so in a way which is highly collaborative and maximizes opportunity.
