Main responsibilities
- Support the Director of Strategic Communications and Membership in delivering a strategic communication plan
- Play a key role in delivering publications via effective and efficient project management to ensure consistent quality and meet a high standard of credibility and evidence in publications and other external content
- Deliver written materials, including briefing notes, presentations, social media content, and support speechwriting for senior leadership
- Develop and manage the key messages evidence and supporting materials, using sharp critical thinking and creative analysis to maintain a robust and up-to-date evidence repository
- Monitor the current debate and key issue development around energy in the global arena and apply information assessment tactics to support the Strategic Communications team.
Key skills and experience required
- Proven experience of the energy sector, gained in industry, academia or another relevant organisation
- Proven track record of efficient research skills and quantitative and qualitative analysis in the spheres of energy and related policy issues, or a closely related field
- Knowledge of current issues in environmental, climate, and sustainable development areas
- Ability to understand different audiences and tailor massages and deliverables accordingly for effective communication
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to work effectively in an independent setting and deliver assignments on time.
