The Opportunity

‍

This is a pivotal role within a high-performing financial services team, acting as the number two to the Head of Financial Services. You will play a central role in shaping client strategy, leading delivery across key accounts, and supporting the continued growth of the practice within a nimble and ambitious agency environment.

Main Responsibilities

‍

• Lead the strategic direction and delivery of integrated communications programmes for financial services clients
• Act as a senior counsel to clients, building trusted and long-term relationships
• Support and deputise for the Head of Financial Services as required
• Drive new business activity, including contributing to pitches and identifying growth opportunities
• Oversee and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performing and supportive team culture
• Ensure consistently high standards of delivery across multiple accounts
• Collaborate across the wider agency to deliver integrated, multi-market campaigns

Skills & Experience

‍

• Significant experience within a communications agency, with a focus on financial services
• Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including regulatory and reputational considerations
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and provide senior strategic counsel
• Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Track record of contributing to business development and agency growth
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
