About the organisation:
Ellwood Atfield is proud to be partnering with Together for Short Lives, the UK’s leading charity for children living with serious illness, their families, and the services that provide them with palliative care.
Together for Short Lives supports families directly through practical guidance, emotional support and financial assistance, while also bringing together children's hospices, NHS services and health and care professionals to improve standards of care across the UK.
Alongside families, members and partners, Together for Short Lives plays a leading role in influencing government policy and campaigning for better access to children's palliative care. It works closely with ministers, parliamentarians, NHS bodies and healthcare leaders to secure sustainable funding, shape national policy and improve services for children and families. The charity also leads research, develops best practice guidance and represents the voices of families and professionals to help drive long-term improvements across the sector.
