Ellwood Atfield’s Health Practice is hosting “Crisis? What crisis?”, an evening seminar with Professor John Underwood, Director of the Centre for Health Communication Research at Bucks New University and an adviser to NHS organisations across the country.

It seems that almost every day a new NHS crisis hits the headlines. From A&E waiting times to poor patient care, from the proposed closure of maternity units to the involvement of the US President and the Pope in the care of a young baby at Great Ormond Street Hospital…

John Underwood, Director, Centre for Health Communication Research, Bucks New University

John Underwood has advised on many of the NHS crises of recent years. He is a former BBC and ITN journalist and a former political spin doctor. In this seminar he will seek to draw out the key lessons from several recent NHS crisis case studies and will share his top tips for NHS managers.
