Order, Order! Ben Wright’s book launch

On 1st November, the ellwood atfield gallery hosted  the launch of  Ben Wright’s book “Order, Order! The rise and fall of political drinking”.

Ben Wright
Ben Wright, Political Correspondent at BBC News launched his first book “Order, Order! The rise and fall of political drinking”. We all gathered for a fun evening bringing together friends and peers from the media and politics. All the books were grasped: get your own or buy a copy as a Christmas present – available here.

After an introduction and a few anecdotes from Ben Wright’s book, we all raised our glass to the history of politics and alcohol.

A glass of Bells for Mrs T. in the evening – that’s how she unwound as she kicked her heels off at the end of the day on the Downing street sofa. She was practically teetotal compared to her husband Denis, golf-loving, gin-swilling Denis.
