The Global Infrastructure Investor Association (GIIA) is the membership body representing the world’s leading investors in infrastructure and the advisers who support them. With members managing over $2 trillion in assets, GIIA champions the vital role of private capital in delivering sustainable infrastructure in the UK, US, EU, Australia, Canada and beyond.


This is a rare chance to work with a global investor community and play a pivotal role in influencing policy and regulatory frameworks that impact infrastructure development worldwide. You'll help shape the dialogue around net-zero, economic growth and digital transformation, supporting public-private collaboration at the highest levels.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Support policy development, research and consultation responses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate member working groups, meetings and policy events.
  • Support advocacy efforts and contribute to GIIA’s external positioning.
  • Represent GIIA in forums and prepare briefings for internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key skills and experience required

  • Experience in public policy, government affairs or a related field.
  • Understanding of UK, EU or US political systems and policymaking.
  • Confident communicator, with excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
  • A thoughtful, organised and team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for the role infrastructure development has in shaping future growth and prosperity.
