The Opportunity

The opportunity

Our client, a sports company which is one of the biggest names in its field, is looking for an experienced corporate communications manager to join on a 12-month maternity cover from December 2025.  The postholder will report to the Director of Corporate Communications and focus on three key areas of activity: brand, licensing and sustainability.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage brand communications across mainstream media in line with agreed priorities and objectives
  • Manage licensing communications and media engagement programmes around key activations and product launches
  • Deliver a communications roadmap for priority licensing partners to maximise brand comms opportunities
  • Manage sustainability communications around key milestones, announcements, reports, calendar moments and speaking opportunities. Support the team on sustainability messaging for partners where required
  • Manage the influencer programme to drive brand awareness and support key commercial objectives.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven experience working with top tier media, influencers and talent, with existing relationships in the lifestyle, entertainment and news space
  • Experience managing key spokespeople, including messaging and briefing management
  • A team player, able to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively and professionally
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Great organisational skills, very confident managing multiple workstreams.
