It’s An Exciting Time To Join This Specialist Regulator’s Communications Team

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is the UK’s aviation regulator. With the aviation industry facing huge opportunities and challenges, this is an exceptionally exciting time to join the CAA’s developing communications team.

The CAA is at the heart of the aviation and travel sectors. It oversees the standards in all aspects of civil aviation in the UK, and is at the frontline of consumer protection. It protects us when we are flying and when we are on the ground. It also manages the ATOL scheme – establishing whether package travel companies are financially sound and to ensure customers are protected in the event of their failure. Last year it managed the repatriation of over 100,000 customers when Monarch Airlines went into administration.

The CAA’s vision is for everyone, whether they fly or not, to have “confidence in a safe and secure aviation sector”. Over the next few years, the CAA is tackling some of the most topical issues in aviation, whether it’s Brexit, drones or runway capacity expansion, there is a lot to get involved with!
