High Performing Association Secretariats Survey

Our analysis of High Performing Association Secretariats will be published in June

The report will help associations develop happier and more effective teams.

We first wrote about High-Performing Secretariats as one of the seven ‘Key Success Factors for European Associations’, and now the Association Leadership Academy is analysing this important factor at a deeper level.

Our previous research uncovered insights such as; many high-performing secretariats, typically led by participative-minded Director Generals, were results and open communications focussed. We hope to further this research with our current survey.

We aim to answer questions such as:

Is there anything association leaders do, or don’t do, that causes secretariats to under-perform?

What are the most common reasons staff cite in wanting to leave their association?

How should association leaders recruit high performers to join their secretariats?

Your help would be much appreciated in completing a 10 question survey. In return, we will send you a free copy of the report and an invitation to its launch at our Westminster gallery.

We look forward to sharing our results with you in June.
