Olam Cocoa to hire a Brand Manager for their Amsterdam office

Sunny Verghese co-founded Olam in 1989 and leads the company’s strategy, planning, business development and management. His external directorships include Chairman of International Enterprise Singapore and the Human Capital Leadership Institute. Sunny is a recipient of the Outstanding CEO of the Year award, as well as the Public Service Medal from the Government of Singapore and he embodies Olam’s commitment to sustainable growth.

During a keynote speech at the UN in April 2016, Sunny Verghese spoke of his and Olam’s motivations behind their involvement with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Gerard Manley is CEO of Olam Cocoa. Gerry has over 31 years’ experience in the Cocoa and the Chocolate industry and recently stepped down as Chairman of the Federation of Cocoa Commerce. He has been with Olam since 1998 and is Chairman of the Executive Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committee.

Following Ellwood Atfield’s recent success working on positions within their global communications and sustainability teams Olam Cocoa has appointed us to hire a Brand Manager, based in Amsterdam and reporting into Levi Hensel, Head of Cocoa Communications in London.

The Opportunity

This is a dynamic, newly created position in a leading, core business division of Olam International’s global agri-business. The role requires a candidate with a creative, independent and forward looking mind-set. The successful candidate will need to possess superior project management, organisational, and communication skills.

Based in Olam Cocoa’s Netherlands office in Amsterdam, this role has a global remit and will report into Olam Cocoa’s Head of Cocoa Communications, whilst also working closely with the Product Line Managers, the Product R&D staff, the Corporate Communications team, and numerous external support agencies.
