A fast-growing strategic communications agency advising clients across complex political, regulatory, and reputational landscapes. The consultancy combines public affairs, corporate communications, and policy insight, with close access to its leadership team and an ambitious growth plan.

 

The Opportunity

You will join a small-to-mid-sized agency with significant momentum heading into 2026 and beyond. From the outset you will be embedded in major client programmes, contributing to regulatory, political, and wider strategic communications briefs. The agency is open to those from pure public affairs or blended comms, PA, and policy backgrounds.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality counsel across public affairs and wider strategic communications accounts
  • Monitor political, policy, regulatory, and media developments to shape client advice
  • Build and maintain relationships across Westminster and Whitehall
  • Draft impactful policy briefs, political analysis, stakeholder materials, and narrative content
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to support complex programmes and contribute to new business
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, timelines, and delivery
  • Bring energy, initiative, and a hands-on approach in a growing, fast-paced agency environment

Skills & Experience

  • Strong agency experience in public affairs or strategic communications (essential)
  • Ability to operate as a do-er who can quickly add value and manage delivery
  • Understanding of UK politics, parliamentary process, and policy development
  • Experience spanning PA, comms, and/or policy is welcome
  • Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
  • Confident managing multiple accounts and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong Labour connectivity or demonstrable Labour-facing experience is preferred
