Ellwood Atfield are proud to be supporting a leading transport and logistics company to recruit Communications Executive.
The opportunity:
Working as part of a collaborative communications team, you will support the planning, creation and delivery of content across a variety of channels. You will help ensure communications are clear, consistent and aligned with organisational priorities while contributing to initiatives that strengthen reputation and employee engagement.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor your approach for different audiences. You'll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Regular travel across the UK will be required to engage with colleagues, gather content and support communications activity across multiple locations.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging content across internal and external communications channels, including digital, social media and corporate platforms.
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of communications campaigns and activities aligned to organisational priorities.
- Build relationships with colleagues across the business, travelling regularly across the UK to gather content, develop stories and support stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor media coverage and communications performance, providing insight and reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and the timely delivery of communications materials, briefings and updates.
Key skills and experience required:
- Experience in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating content for digital and social media channels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK.
