The Opportunity

This maternity cover role offers the chance to lead flagship consumer accounts, shape integrated PR and communications programmes, and support a talented team delivering standout campaigns. You will play a key part in maintaining momentum across a busy client portfolio and ensuring best-in-class delivery. A January /February start is ideal.

Main Responsibilities

‍

• Lead strategic development and delivery of integrated consumer PR campaigns
• Advise senior clients and nurture long-term, trusted relationships
• Oversee account teams, ensuring high-quality work and effective workflow management
• Drive creative thinking and integrated planning across earned, social, and influencer channels
• Line-manage and mentor colleagues to support performance and growth
• Monitor budgets, forecast activity, and ensure commercial effectiveness
• Support new business activity, from pitch development to presentation

Skills & Experience

‍

• Significant experience in a senior consumer PR or integrated communications role at a leading agency
• Strong track record managing major consumer brands in a fast-paced agency environment
• Excellent client leadership skills with the ability to instil confidence and steer senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable impact
• Confident team leader with experience developing and motivating high-performing colleagues
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and contributing to growth
• Clear, persuasive communicator with first-rate written and verbal skills
