As Director of Corporate Communications UK/I, you will shape how the organisation shows up in one of its most critical markets. You will influence reputation at scale, craft storytelling that inspires, and work with senior leaders who value clarity, creativity, and purpose. Main responsibilities
- Provide strategic communications leadership across the UK and Ireland, acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders.
- Lead integrated external and internal communications programmes that strengthen reputation, inspire employees, and support commercial growth.
- Manage media relations, issues response, and executive visibility, ensuring clear and impactful storytelling across all formats.
- Partner with global and European teams to adapt and amplify narratives for the UK and Ireland.
- Use data and insight to monitor communications impact and continuously improve strategy.
Key skills and experience required
- Proven experience leading communications in complex, matrixed, and multinational environments.
- Strong media and reputation management skills, including issues handling in fast-paced or regulated sectors.
- Ability to turn complex or technical topics, especially around digital payments or emerging tech, into clear, human stories.
- Experience working within highly agile environments where decisions move quickly and collaboration spans countries and teams.
- Skilled people leader with experience managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
