Ellwood Atfield is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected professional membership body with a significant UK and international footprint.

The opportunity:

As a key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of our client's support within UK regions. This includes ensuring that relationships across the country are effectively managed, developed and maintained, delivering excellence in client satisfaction and driving growth in market share.

The role will also be working closely with Local Networks to drive growth in member engagement as well as positioning local members as a key source of input into public policy.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute in a collaborative way to the delivery of the organisational strategy and overarching member value proposition, working closely with colleagues to ensure that support for members is aligned and accessible wherever they are located.

Experience required:

  •  Proven B2B business development leader with a track record of driving market share growth, managing key accounts, and building strategic partnerships across diverse regions.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement, lead generation, negotiation, sales conversion, and contract management — ideally within professional services or finance.
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to inspire and manage a large high-performing team, delivering results against ambitious targets through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer at all levels, with outstanding written and verbal skills, a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute and sector-savvy, with a solid understanding of the UK professional services or finance landscape, strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Benefits:

  • Salary banding: £107,000– £117,000, dependent on experience
  • Remote working  but must be able to travel regularly to London and across the UK
