Ellwood Atfield are currently partnering with a prestigious membership organisation based in Central London.
The opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Content to develop and lead their multi-format content strategy across written, visual, audio and interactive formats. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, optimising and distributing content across all channels including web, email and social media to drive member awareness, engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that expands reach and impact
- Oversee the full content lifecycle from ideation to performance analysis across all owned, earned and paid channels
- Champion a consistent, member-centric content experience across every format
- Optimise web content for SEO, UX and accessibility
- Lead and coach a high-performing Content team
- Set and track performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision making
- Partner with Marketing, Commercial and Communications teams to ensure alignment and consistent brand identity
Experience required:
- Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
- Significant senior-level experience in communications, content strategy and multi-channel content delivery
- Proven track record developing content governance frameworks
- Experience leading content operations across digital, social, video, audio and print platforms
- Strong understanding of audience engagement, storytelling and channel optimisation
- Outstanding communication skills with strong attention to quality and detail
- Ability to interpret and act on engagement data and analytics
