The Opportunity:

This is a highly collaborative and externally focused role within the Corporate Affairs function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across industry, regulation and partner organisations.

The Industry Relations Manager will lead engagement activity with key industry partners, providing insight, coordination and strategic support across a range of programmes and initiatives. You will monitor sector developments, identify implications for stakeholders and support the delivery of collaborative projects that contribute to long-term organisational objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and translating technical or policy information into clear, actionable insight.

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Support the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement strategies and collaborative projects.
  • Monitor sector, regulatory and policy developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Produce clear briefings, presentations and insight to support internal decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally with communications, insights and corporate affairs teams to align stakeholder activity.
  • Represent the organisation at external meetings, forums and industry events.
  • Support and develop junior colleagues, helping ensure high-quality delivery across the function.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experience delivering stakeholder engagement or industry relations activity within a complex environment.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex information clearly.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to interpret policy, regulatory or operational developments and communicate implications effectively.
  • Experience working within a regulated sector or complex stakeholder environment would be advantageous.
