The opportunity:
The Marketing Manager will take ownership of implementing their organisation-wide marketing strategy using digital tools to highlight their programmes, professional pathways, registries, continuing professional development opportunities, and other key services. You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior colleagues, journalists, and external media partners, identifying opportunities to strengthen their public presence and increase positive coverage.
Main responsibilities:
- Leading a team of five, including marketing, communications and media officers.
- Deliver and refine the annual marketing strategy aimed at strengthening membership growth, retention and engagement through digital channels with a focus on email marketing.
- Promoting the organisations commercial products using user-generated content marketing.
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven track record in ability to oversee and deliver a full marketing function, whether within a membership organisation, Non-Profit, or an agency.
- Strong grasp of core marketing principles, including branding, audience profiling, segmentation, and mapping user journeys to improve engagement.
- Ability to use data and insight to shape marketing and communication strategies.
- Highly skilled in written and verbal communication, with strong copywriting abilities.
