The Opportunity

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a trade association in the infrastructure space to recruit a Policy Research Executive. The organisation works to advance high‑impact policy positions that support the transition to net zero, strengthen connectivity, enhance social infrastructure and ensure the effective delivery of essential utilities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Policy

  • Monitor, research and analyse market and policy developments, providing timely intelligence to the policy and public affairs team and the organisation’s members.
  • Support the development of evidence‑based policy positions.
  • Assist working group leads in organising member meetings and maintain regular engagement with working group participants.
  • Contribute to the drafting of briefings, policy papers, reports, statements and consultation responses, working closely with colleagues and industry experts.
  • Prepare materials for policy‑focused events such as roundtables, workshops and collaborative sessions with external partners, including government bodies.

Research

  • Conduct structured desk research and data gathering on infrastructure policy, regulation and market trends across priority regions.
  • Maintain and update the organisation’s evidence base on the role and impact of private capital in infrastructure, drawing on public data, member insights and external studies.
  • Track policy developments, consultations and political activity, producing insight notes and recommendations.
  • Support the planning, design and delivery of the research pipeline, including managing individual research projects.
