The Opportunity
As Senior Account Executive, you’ll support the running of several high-profile corporate accounts and campaigns, helping to deliver effective and strategic communications programmes. You’ll act as a trusted day-to-day contact for your team, manage delivery across multiple workstreams, and ensure high-quality outputs. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas to help further establish the practice and its capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day client relationships, providing accurate, timely and well-considered advice.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, pitch stories, handle media inquiries, arrange interviews, and provide media training.
- Monitor media coverage, collate results, and create performance reports for clients and teams.
- Help deliver integrated corporate communications activity, including issues and reputation programmes.
- Coordinate elements of project delivery, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and briefs are met.
- Contribute to new business pitches and support organic growth across existing accounts.
- Assist with managing workflows, budgets and resourcing, escalating risks where appropriate.
- Play an active role in supporting the agency’s inclusive culture and wider industry initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in corporate communications or reputation management, with agency experience essential – you must already be at Senior Account Executive level.
- Growing confidence in client-facing environments, including exposure to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- An interest in the commercial side of agency life, including new business and account development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with media relations experience desirable.
