VP of Employee Communications
The Opportunity
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver an insight-driven employee communications strategy aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders to shape leadership communications, using data and employee insight to drive effective engagement.
- Create clear, compelling communications that build understanding of business strategy, progress, and employee impact.
- Lead communications for culture, change, and organisational initiatives, building commitment and capability.
- Support crisis and issues communications, advising senior stakeholders on employee engagement.
- Collaborate with corporate communications, marketing, and digital teams to deliver coordinated campaigns.
- Measure and evaluate communications effectiveness, using insight to continuously improve activity.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Extensive experience in employee or corporate communications within a complex, global organisation.
- Investment Banking experience
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders with confidence and credibility.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex topics into engaging narratives.
- Experience delivering communications that support business strategy, culture, and change.
- Strong analytical and planning skills, with a data-led approach to decision- making.
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace.
- Collaborative leadership style, effective in global, matrixed environments.
- Strong judgement, integrity, and understanding of risk and governance.
