The Trade Association Forum’s Salary and Benefits Survey 2019 provides up-to-date information and in-depth analysis of remuneration trends across trade associations in the UK.

The Trade Association Forum (TAF) is the largest organisation of its kind – and the only one with Government endorsement via the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. TAF members represent every sector of the UK economy. Ellwood Atfield is proud to partner with TAF again on this valuable salary survey.

The data was collected during October 2019 and there were 105 valid responses – mostly from trade associations but including some larger not-for-profit institutes. Together these employ some 2,363 staff and pay salaries that total well in excess of £80m. We hope that the findings will help members in refining their current remuneration policies.

For over fifteen years we have been successfully recruiting for UK and EU trade associations, appointing the people responsible for an association’s reputation and influence: its leadership, communications, public affairs and policy experts for permanent and interim roles.

So far in 2019 we have successfully helped the education, energy, entertainment, farming, financial services, food and drink, healthcare, land use, manufacturing, management consulting, marine, packaging, pharmaceutical, property, tourism and transport sectors! We have found really talented people for the many associations representing these vibrant sectors, industries and professions.
